Barry grew up in Suffern, NY listening to the voices of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennet, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and other prolific artists of the 50's and 60's. Enamored most with the sound of a Horn Section and a Big Band, Barry was influenced heavily by Swing & the arrangements of Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, & Artie Shaw.
It all began at the behest of his Grandfather Bert & Grandmother Shirley to listen to jazz music, who were both avid fans of the same type of music that would eventually capture and win Barry's heart . Today, Barry continues to live the legacy of his beloved Grandfather Bert through the music they both loved, while still having the honor to sit next to his Grandmother Shirley to talk Sinatra, play piano, and sing together.
A natural entertainer, an insatiable appetite to perform and indulge audiences, and a love for music that knows no boundaries; Barry has dedicated a large portion of his life to paying tribute to the musicians that he loves. He has found the right balance to life, which includes a professional career in Financial Services Management, his family in Scotch Plains, NJ, and his musical aspirations.
